Cold brew for hosting: how to plan bottle quantities
Planning coffee for a few people starts with the amount of coffee you want to pour, not the size of the drinking glass. Multiply that amount by the number of pours, then compare bottle combinations that cover the total.
Choose a pouring amount for your calculation
Count the pours you want to plan for, including any additional pours you expect. Multiply this by the amount of coffee you choose for each one: number of pours × coffee per pour = total coffee.
For example, four pours of 250 ml use 1 litre of coffee. The 250 ml here is an arithmetic example, not a recommended serving or a bottle size we currently offer. Choose the amount for your own plans.
Turn the total into bottles
The examples below all assume 250 ml of bottled coffee per pour. They use the listed Tel Aviv formats: 1 litre and 500 ml. The totals cover the bottles only, before any delivery charge.
Six example pours need 1.5 litres, which can be one 1 litre bottle and one 500 ml bottle. If you plan eight pours instead, two 1 litre bottles cover the 2 litre total.
| Example pours | Total coffee | Bottle combination | Bottle total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1 litre | One 1 litre bottle | ₪85 |
| 6 | 1.5 litres | 1 litre + 500 ml | ₪135 |
| 8 | 2 litres | Two 1 litre bottles | ₪170 |
Keep coffee volume separate from the finished drink
Ice, milk or water can change the volume in a glass. The table counts the bottled coffee itself; it does not predict the size of a finished drink or promise a particular yield after preparation.
Check the instructions for the product before serving. Do not assume a concentrate or a dilution ratio, and consider what each person wants to add separately.
Match your plans to the pickup point
Efrat offers 1 litre bottles only, so the 500 ml combinations in this table apply to Tel Aviv. Efrat pickup is on a Friday once every two weeks, with dates and details in its WhatsApp group.
For Tel Aviv, check the announced pickup details or the delivery quote before setting a budget. A delivery fee is charged per delivery, so bottles in the same delivery share that cost. Sharing the fee does not make delivery free.
Confirm availability before relying on the coffee
Ordering is currently closed. These calculations help you think through quantities; they are not a booking, a stock confirmation or a catering offer. Joining a WhatsApp group does not reserve a bottle.
Check the batch update and collection instructions when ordering opens. Keep the cold brew refrigerated, and use the bottle’s instructions for storage and serving.
